Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026

Overtime Calculator Pro respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled when you use overtimecalculatorpro.org.

The calculators on this website are designed for educational estimates. The numbers you enter into a calculator, such as hourly rate, hours worked, overtime hours, tax estimate percentages, or timesheet entries, are processed in your browser to display results and are not copied into shareable query-string URLs by the calculator code. You should not enter information that you consider highly sensitive unless you are comfortable using it for an estimate.

Some calculator pages may allow your browser to remember recent inputs or settings for convenience. For example, a timesheet calculator may save recent entries locally so you do not need to type the same information again. The overtime paystub checker keeps storage off by default and saves its entries only after the user enables the local-storage option. Its Clear data control removes that saved record and blanks the current form. This information is intended to remain on your device unless you clear it, reset the calculator, or clear your browser storage.

The monthly overtime tracker uses browser localStorage when auto-save is enabled by default. Its shift times, notes, tags, pay rates, and differentials are not encrypted. Auto-save can be turned off, and the Clear all tracker data control removes the local tracker record. JSON imports are limited to 1 MB, parsed in the browser, checked for unsafe object keys, and schema-validated before fields change. CSV and JSON exports are created locally and include only the fields selected by the user. The employer cost and overtime-versus-hiring tools do not persist their inputs.

We may collect limited usage information through configured Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity scripts to understand page use, performance, and usability. This may include pages visited, approximate device type, browser type, general location derived from network information, referring page, and interaction events. Calculator cards are explicitly marked for Clarity masking, and calculator code does not send form values as custom analytics events. Third-party scripts still operate under their own policies and configuration.

We use Adsterra to display advertising, including sidebar, native-banner, and Social Bar formats. The sidebar and native-banner advertising scripts load inside same-site iframe documents, while the Social Bar script loads on the page. Adsterra and participating advertisers may receive technical and advertising data such as IP address, browser or device information, referring and viewed pages, ad impressions, ad interactions, and cookie or similar identifier data. They may use cookies or comparable technologies for ad delivery, frequency control, measurement, fraud prevention, and interest-based advertising under their own policies.

If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we may receive your name, email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request, improve the website, and maintain appropriate records.

We do not ask you to create an account to use the basic calculators. We do not sell your personal information. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, bank account details, employer login credentials, or full payroll records.

This website may link to official government resources, payroll references, or other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites. Review their policies before providing information to them.

We use reasonable efforts to keep the website reliable and safe, but no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for using the calculators in a way that fits your own privacy needs.

You can control many privacy choices through your browser. You may clear cookies, clear local storage, block certain scripts, or use browser privacy settings. Some features may work differently if browser storage or scripts are disabled.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When changes are made, the effective date may be revised. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact the site owner through the contact method provided on the website.
